Four Corners
The only location in the United States where four states, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah, meet in a single spot. Standing on the brass cap allows an individual to stand in four states at one time. The monument is located entirely on Navajo Nation land, please respect their land and customs. The Four Corners Monument is approximately 67 miles west of Aztec.

Monument Valley
Sometimes called the 8th wonder of the world, this area consists of magnificent red rock formations that cross both Arizona and Utah.  A 17 mile dirt road loops around allowing visitors to tour the area within the Navajo Tribal Park.  Tours, campgrounds, motel, and restaurant are present at the monument.  It is located approximately 180 miles west of Aztec.

Located on the Navajo Indian Reservation, the monument contains some of the best Anasazi ruins on the Colorado Plateau.  Most of the ruins require a lengthy hike into and out as the area has been kept as pristine as possible. It is located approximately 180 miles west of Aztec.

Glen Canyon National Recreation - Lake Powell
The Glen Canyon Dam has created numerous scenic vistas within a region of geologic wonder, all accessible along Lake Powell.  Stretching for 186 miles and extending into Utah, a range of outdoor lake activities are available from camping, hiking, sport fishing, boating, sailing, skiing, and boat tours.  The dam is located north of Page, AZ, approx. 254 miles from Aztec.

Canyon de Chelley National Monument
Sheltered at the base of sheer red cliffs and in canyon wall caves are Anasazi cliff dwellings and villages that were built between AD 350 and 1300. Visitors to the monument have the chance to learn about Southwestern Indian history from the earliest basket makers to the Navajo Indians who still live and farm in the canyon. Canyon de Chelley is located approx. 149 miles west-southwest of Aztec.
